At Sidwell’s soiree, Willow arrived as Jenz was warning Drew that if he wasn’t in office, he was useless to him. Willow told Drew that Scout was happy about seeing her family and was all smiles when she left.

At the party, Sidwell told Jordan that Lucy and Ava were attractive to him in their own ways. Meanwhile, Marco encouraged Lucas to go along to get along with Willow and said to follow his lead.

Lucas found Willow in the study as she got a text. He pointed to her screen photo of her with her kids and noted that it must make her feel good every time she sees it.

Lucas tiptoed into the conversation, but it quickly turned sour when he told her it was best for Willow’s kids if she stayed away. Drew came in as things got heated, and he warned Lucas to stay away from his wife. Lucas went off on Drew as well, reminding him he was only alive and walking because of him.

Sidwell and Marco chatted about their year, from Natalia’s death, to pinning Dalton’s murder on Sonny and Laura, to blackmailing them over it. Sidwell said that because of it, he needed to keep Sonny alive, but when he was done with him, Sonny was a dead man.

Later, Lucas told Marco that he didn’t need to wear a mask with him. Marco agreed to always be open and honest, but didn’t look so sure as they hugged.

At Q mansion, Tracy and Michael talked about the evening with the family. Michael thought Monica would be proud of the way Tracy led the family through the holiday.

The doorbell rang, and Tracy was taken aback to find Jacinda there. She introduced herself as Michael’s girlfriend. “I know who you are,” Tracy told her.

Tracy invited Jacinda to come in so she could get to know her better.

Jacinda told Tracy about working with Nina and her relationship with Michael. While Jacinda was out of the room, Tracy told Michael that Jacinda had real feelings for him, and thought he was stringing her along. Michael protested that he did like her, but Tracy insisted that he clarify their relationship.

After Tracy gave them some space, Michael told Jacinda that Tracy thought he was using her. He said that Tracy knew he paid her to be his alibi and thought that once the trial was over, they would be, too. “But she’s wrong,” Michael said.

Michael pulled out a gift from his pocket. He gave Jacinda a bracelet, but she said it was too much and she couldn’t accept it. Michael insisted she keep it and put it on her wrist as he told her how much he cared.

Sonny ran into ADA Turner, and they talked about the trial. Turner said she let Alexis grill her own witness on purpose. She added that she didn’t enjoy seeing Portia’s life blow up, but she did break the law.

Sonny suggested that sometimes good people do bad things to protect the ones they love. Turner asked if that was his justification for himself, as well. Sonny said he’d been on both sides of a cheating scandal, and it’s never black and white.

Sonny told Turner that he showed his grandson grace, and anyone who does that for someone he loves, he doesn’t forget it.

At Alexis’ house, Scout was enjoying her time with her family. Alexis was very happy until Danny arrived, and then looked worried. Danny hoped to stay and visit Scout for a while. Everyone encouraged Alexis to allow it, but Alexis knew it was too big a risk with Drew overall to let Danny stay.

Cody got Scout to leave the room so Alexis could break Danny’s heart by telling him that he needed to leave. When Cody and Scout came back with hot chocolate, Danny told Scout that he loved her, but he had to go. Cody offered to drive Danny home, but he said he didn’t have to. “Yes, I do. I live there,” Cody quipped.

After Danny left, Alexis comforted Scout. She told Alexis that Danny understood how it felt to lose their mom. Alexis told her that she and Danny would always be siblings, even if it was complicated with Drew right now. She asked Scout to keep it a secret that she saw Danny.

After Willow picked up Scout, Alexis promised Kristina and Molly that the next time she got a shot in court, she wouldn’t miss.

At their place, Kevin told Laura that he’d been asked to move to Ireland by one of his new colleagues. Kevin said he’d only take it if Laura came with him. Laura pointed out she had just been reelected, and the timing was off.

Jordan interrupted by coming by to tell Laura that she might have something to use against Sidwell. She shared that Sidwell was chatting up Ava in a flirty way, although he was dating Lucy. Laura noted that Lucy can be pretty impulsive, and if she were competing with Ava, it could be to their advantage.

After Jordan left, Kevin told Laura that he would call his colleagues and turn them down. “I’m not leaving you, Laura. Not now,” he promised. Laura thought that with everything going on with Sidwell, it might be smart for him to leave to keep their options open.

When Danny and Cody got home, Danny lamented that Scout was locked away all alone and how hard it was on her since Sam died. He felt helpless and wished there was something he could do. “Maybe there is,” Cody told him.

Cody suggested that if Danny wanted to see Scout, he’d have to be smart. He advised that Danny play the long game with Drew by pretending to follow the rules, but once his guard was down, he could make his move.

Meanwhile, once Scout and Willow got to the car, Scout confided that she had seen Danny and asked Willow not to tell her dad.
