Let’s be honest, if you told me a year ago that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) would be walking down the aisle in a genuine, non-blackmail-induced ceremony, I would have laughed in your face. Yet, here we are. As we head into the week of December 29 on Days of our Lives, the countdown is officially on for Leo’s wedding with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). But this is Salem, and more specifically, this is Leo Stark—so don’t go buying them a toaster just yet.
Leo and Javi’s Days of our Lives Wedding
The drama kicks off on Tuesday, December 30, when Javi starts questioning Leo. Now, let’s be real: if you are marrying Leo, you should probably have a few questions. Is there something from Leo’s chaotic past that he needs answers about, or is this just standard pre-wedding jitters? Knowing Leo, he’s likely hiding something, whether it’s a small white lie or a massive, relationship-imploding secret.
By Thursday, New Year’s Day, the tension ramps up. While the Hernandez family is busy preparing for Javi’s nuptials (which is a miracle in itself, given their history), Leo is off seeking help from Marlena.
Although it’s the couple’s New Year’s Eve wedding, the big event is set for us fans to view on Friday, January 2nd, (time in Salem is merely a suggestion, after all). It’s the moment of truth. We know Gwen is there, feeling “frustrated” that same day. Could Leo’s bestie be the one to throw a spanner in the works? Or did her custom-made dress and speed-dialed date not live up to her expectations?
It’s going to be a week of close calls and high fashion. Will Javi get the answers he needs? Will Leo manage to charm his way to “I do”? Grab the popcorn, because this wedding promises to be as colorful and unpredictable as one of Leo’s silk suits.
