In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, December 15th, 2025, Bill and Katie remarried unofficially, and Eric officially retired for now.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap

Katie was stunned at Bill’s proposal, and that he was carrying a ring in his pocket. She accepted and agreed to marry him that night. Bill and Katie announced to Donna, Brooke, Will, and Electra that they were going to have another wedding.
Bill said they’d make it official later, but for now, they wanted them to be part of their wedding, and they happily agreed. Bill got nervous as he waited for Katie to get ready, and Will teased him.
Donna and Brooke rewalked the aisle, followed by Katie as Will and Electra watched. Will joked that due to the late time, they couldn’t call in a justice of the peace, and it was past Beth’s bedtime, so he said they would wing it.
Will gave a speech about how his parents belonged together, and he missed his family. Katie cried as he talked, and then Donna and Brooke gave a speech about their sister deserving love. Bill told Katie how much he loved her and that she made him want to be better. He called her his touchstone and safe harbor, and asked her to trust him with her heart.
Katie told Bill that he strengthened her and her heart, gave her a voice, and believed in her. She admitted she’d considered putting her family back together over the years, but never thought it would happen. Katie envied Bill’s ability to live in the moment. “I wish I could give you my heart, but I don’t own it. It’s already yours. I gave it to you a long time ago,” Katie said.
Katie and Bill exchanged rings, and then Bill pronounced them husband and wife, and Will told his dad he could kiss his mom as Donna, Brooke, Will, and Electra applauded.
At the cliff house, Finn sat shirtless, and Steffy wore lingerie as they drank wine in front of the fire. They spent their time talking about everyone else. Later, they made out in front of the fire and talked about how they had to hold onto and cherish their special bond.
In the CEO’s office at Forrester, Eric sat in the desk chair while he and Ridge shared a drink and did a toast to the past, present, and future of Forrester. “To my dad, the heart and soul of this company,” Ridge added.
Ridge and Eric talked about Hope’s wedding and how they opted out. Eric took some shots at Bill, calling him a piece of work, and “walking, living proof that money doesn’t buy taste. Where does he even find those shirts?” Eric quipped.
Eric reminisced about their past successful lines, and Sally Spectra tried to copy them every time. Ridge told him that he and Stephanie built an empire together. Eric repeatedly told Ridge that it was all his now, and he’d been running it on his own for some time.
Eric held up his stapler and said that Stephanie had given it to him. He said that it represented power, courage, determination, and creativity. “That’s a lot of weight to put on a stapler,” Ridge mocked. Eric cradled the stapler as he insisted that it represented power to him, a certain power a person carries in their lives.
Eric ceremoniously handed it to Ridge, who didn’t realize until that moment the significance. “I’m done,” Eric conceded. Ridge told his dad that all he ever wanted was his love and respect, and insisted the door would always be open for him, and that the office would always be his.
Eric said he’d try retirement, but there was no guarantee he wouldn’t come back. Ridge hoped he would, and they told each other how much they loved one another. Ridge cried as they held hands.
