Days of our Lives Recap Dec 15: Alex and Stephanie have a biohazard scare, Jada investigates EJ’s disappearance
In the Days of our Lives recap for Monday, December 15th, 2025, EJ has some explaining to do, while Jada has her work cut out for her.
Days of our Lives Recap

Alex dropped the envelope as Stephanie saw the powder in the fan mail envelope. They evacuated the apartment as Jada came home and asked what was going on. When they told her, she ordered them outside and called in for help with a possible biohazard situation.
Javi did a test on Alex, Stephanie, and Jada to confirm they hadn’t been exposed to anything like anthrax. Jada said the powder still needed to be analyzed. She got a call and yelled, “What?!!!” Steve was at the pub with Kayla when he had a call that made him jump up and say they had to go. They found Stephanie and Alex in the square and got caught up on what was happening.
Jada returned and told them that she had a more pressing issue and had to go. Javi told everyone that they might be back in their building in about an hour, or it could get condemned, depending on what the substance turned out to be.
Kayla was upset to learn about Stephanie’s fan. They suggested that the fan was obsessed with her and wanted to get Alex out of the way.
In the end, it turned out to be a letter from one of Alex’s aunts, and the substance was just powdered sugar from some donuts he’d sent her. Regardless, after talking about the potential danger from Stephanie’s fan, Steve announced he was moving in to give her 24-hour protection.
EJ woke up and was stunned to be in the DiMera crypt. As he realized the others were there, he wondered who was behind it all. Chad and Theo told him that everyone suspected he was trying to make a power play to be in charge of DiMera.
EJ thought it was a ridiculous idea, as Kristen was in prison for shooting him, and he wouldn’t have had to take her. Chad laid into him about why he’s given them plenty of reasons to not believe him.
Theo went to check on Tony and Kristen, who were taking turns sleeping in the other room. He returned and said that Kristen had a bad fever.
Meanwhile, Gwen found EJ’s phone on the floor and thought it was peculiar he’d ever leave it behind. When Susan came in, she confirmed that she hadn’t seen EJ in a few hours. She agreed it was weird for EJ to have left without his phone and thought it was a bad sign.
While Susan called the police to report EJ missing, Gwen ignored a call from Rita, and then erased all the messages and data from EJ’s phone.
When Jada arrived, her team determined there were no signs of forced entry. She thought it was odd that EJ’s phone looked like new. She thought that EJ could have staged his kidnapping to throw the police off his trail of being the kidnapper or something else illegal.
Jada packaged the phone to take to the lab to see if they could get any data off of it. She noticed a syringe on the floor and took it as well. Jada told Susan she was more inclined to think that EJ’s disappearance could be a real kidnapping after all.
