SCENE-STEALING LOOK OF THE WEEK 👏👏👏

Nina’s Cobalt Blue Freya Twist Drape Bodycon Dress by Reiss [Poshmark find – Multiple finds on Poshmark] [ebay find – Multiple finds on ebay] worn with Walker Relaxed Fit Plaid Coat by Avec Les Filles [Lyst/Lulus find]

• Cobalt is such a striking, statement color, and the bodycon fit looked amazing on Cynthia Watros. I’m a sucker for a good plaid, so the coat with its perfect mix of complementary and contrasting colors really took the ensemble to the next level for me.

Jacinda’s Red Embellished Plunge Neck Illusion Mermaid Gown by Mac Duggal 

• I’m not sure if this was intentional or not, but the red gown felt like a slight nod to Pretty Woman. P.S. I perused the Mac Duggal site and am now a fan. Roxanne Faux Leather Top in Wine by Steve Madden [Bloomingdale’s find] worn with a black skirt and black knee-high boots

• This was actually my favorite top for the week. The puff sleeves in faux leather were a little unexpected and gave a feminine edge to the looser silhouette.

• Jordan (Tanisha Harper) gave cool-girl vibes in this outfit. The top, with its body-hugging fit and pants in a vibrant red-orange color, made sure these basics were anything but boring, and the leopard print coat added a welcome bold punch.

Trina’s Black Faux Fur Jacket by Maeve at Anthropologie [ebay find] [similar match at Urban Outfitters]

• A jacket like this can give a fun, textural element to any outfit.

WILLOW 

Willow’s Cranberry Lavina Draped Sweater by Simkhai, worn with Ensley Check Coat in Dark Khaki by ALLSAINTS

• With the off-the-shoulder neck and dolman sleeves, this top is chic and a little sexy, and the coat is a perfect fall plaid.

KRISTINA

• I’m a fan of a grandfather cardi. It’s an old school look that never goes out of style.

Women’s Mixed Media Long-Sleeve Sweater by BLANKNYC

• This sweater/jacket deserves a closer look because it is so much cooler than it looked on TV. The fun mixed media combination of denim & sweater also gives an unexpected versatility to this top.

Lucy’s Roxanne Dress by Antonio Melani [Poshmark find – Multiple finds on Poshmark]

• So, officially, I think this is a really pretty dress, but I don’t think December is its month. I feel like I want to see this as summer is transitioning to fall, or winter is transitioning to spring. Maybe, if it were worn with something like chocolate brown suede boots, I might feel differently, though!

• It’s no secret that Laura Wright has amazing hair, but it seemed to catch my eye a little more than usual this week. The longer layers and highlights seemed softer and framed her face beautifully.
