The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Dec 12: A wedding, a proposal, and an apology
In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, December 12, 2025, everyone celebrated Liam and Hope’s wedding while Ridge apologized to Eric.

Taylor had the rest of the day off, so she spent it with Steffy at the cliff house, who told her mom how guilty Ridge was feeling about Eric’s retirement party. She said that it wasn’t a power grab but Eric was deeply hurt. Steffy shared that Eric showed up at the office, and they hoped they were having a good conversation.
By the runway, Ridge told Eric that he was wrong and made a mistake trying to force him to retire. He apologized, then asked Eric to work with him and finish the line together. “No,” Eric growled.
Eric said his ego had been bruised a bit, but he’d been thinking about what Ridge said and thought he’d give retirement a try. Ridge said it made him happy to see his work live on in Ridge, and noted Forrester Creations was Ridge’s legacy as well. He thought it was time to hand the company over to Ridge and Brooke to run.
As the wedding reception began, everyone congratulated Beth on doing such a good job officiating. Will did a toast to Liam and Hope, and they all raised their glasses.
Douglas, Kelly, and Beth did a toast together, noting how happy Hope and Liam were. They were followed by Katie and Donna, then Deacon, and Bill, who credited Liam for his own changes that brought Katie back into his life.
After Brooke gave her speech, Liam and Hope addressed their guests. Liam thanked Douglas for flying in and Kelly’s help at the wedding as well, and Hope choked up while thanking everyone for being part of their special day.
Liam and Hope left the party to hang out with the kids. Back in the reception, Brooke told Donna, Electra, and Will that she couldn’t believe her little girl was married.
Across the room, Bill told Katie that he loved watching Liam and Hope recommit to one another and he could only think of one thing that could make the day better. Bill told Katie that he didn’t want to spend another moment without her.
Bill told Katie that they had family around them and couldn’t think of a better time than right then to make it official. He got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him. “Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife…tonight?” Bill asked.
