Ruth Stage announced today its revival of Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo, featuring a star-studded cast and limited performances. A follow-up to their September triumph of The Zoo Story, the production stars three-time Emmy winner Christian Jules Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin, The Young and the Restless), Broadway star Nancy Lemenager, and acclaimed Off-Broadway actor Matt de Rogatis.
The Edward Albee classic will be helmed by Oxford-trained director and acting studio founder Theo Devaney. The production promises a visceral, psychologically charged experience as domestic intimacy collides with feral desperation — culminating in the now-legendary park bench encounter that changed American theater forever. At Home at the Zoo is a blazing portrait of marriage, loneliness, masculinity, power, and the human need to be seen.

Le Blanc will star in the production, At Home at the Zoo, which can be seen for three nights only: January 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2026, at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
Following Ruth Stage’s acclaimed September run of The Zoo Story, the Estate has entrusted the company with the continuation of the saga, granting access to Albee’s powerful prequel Homelife — allowing audiences to experience the full emotional journey for the very first time in Asbury Park.
At Home at the Zoo marks the next milestone in Ruth Stage’s multiyear Asbury Park Residency Initiative, a bold plan to build Asbury into the company’s creative home base and a launching ground for future New York City transfers. Returning with a larger cast, more ambitious staging, and a fusion of Hollywood, Broadway, and Off-Broadway talent — Ruth Stage continues to forge a new cultural identity for the Jersey Shore.
Tickets are available starting at $59, with VIP packages for $79, and can be purchased through the Ruth Stage website and Eventbrite. Audience talkbacks will be held on January 15th and 16th.
