In the General Hospital recap for Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, Valentin gets Carly to get a message to Charlotte, Jason tells Britt what she missed, Emma got a message from Anna, and Sonny asks Laura to hang in there.
General Hospital Recap

At Carly’s, Valentin came to the house to ask a favor. He held up a key and asked for a blue ribbon. He explained it was a symbol: a red ribbon meant he was coming to get her, and a blue one meant stay put. He asked Carly to get it to Lulu’s somehow, and Charlotte would find it because she would be looking for it.
At Alexis’ house, Drew and Willow arrived for a private meeting, but others were there. Suzanne managed to get an upset Drew to calm down; when she offered to help, Willow thought it was a good idea, so Drew relented. Alexis asked Drew to recount the night he was shot.
While Alexis questioned the details, Drew remembered something but lost it again before he could say what it was. Drew insisted that he was going to tell the jury that Michael probably shot him. He figured the judge could say disregard what you heard, but they wouldn’t.
Alexis insisted that Drew didn’t pull any antics and promised their case was stronger to get the police to admit they may have focused on the wrong suspect. She told Willow that she wasn’t testifying.
Dante came to Lulu’s to find her anxiously awaiting an update with Nathan, who’d spent the night on the couch, and Charlotte, who defiantly told him that he wouldn’t find her dad unless he wanted him to. Charlotte wanted to go back to the porch, so Nathan went with her.
Inside, Dante told Lulu about Dalton’s disappearance, and they both considered Sonny’s involvement. He and Nathan returned to the station, and then Carly came over for an update. Lulu told her she was so worried, as she knew Valentin would try to take Charlotte. They didn’t get long to talk, though, as Jack came over and wanted to talk to Lulu privately.
Once alone, Jack asked to speak to Charlotte, but Lulu refused. Jack insisted that Charlotte wsa their best bet to find Valentin but Lulu told him to figure it out himself. Charlotte came in and offered to talk to Jack anyway.
Jack asked if Charlotte had any way to contact Valentin. When she said that she didn’t, Jack told her that if she didn’t cooperate then he couldn’t protect Valentin. Lulu told Charlotte to give them a minute so she went to the porch. Lulu blasted Jack for implying to her daughter that she would somehow be responsible for her father’s safety. Jack said the longer this went on, the more likely Charlotte would be used as bait.
On the porch, Charlotte spotted the key with the blue ribbon on the ground. She picked it up and smiled.
At the station, ADA Turner asked Mac if Sonny was capable of killing Dalton to protect Rocco. “Absolutely,” Mac replied. Turner shared that it looked like Dalton lied about the lab being destroyed, but he had disappeared and it makes her wonder if he was killed. Mac thought it was possible, and if Sonny was involved, Dalton might never be heard from again. He told her that despite his charms, Sonny was a cold-blooded killer.
Emma came to see Mac and said she finally heard back from her grandma. She said that Anna left a voicemail that she probably couldn’t call again, but that she’d be back as soon as she could. Mac thought that made sense if Anna was on an assignment.
Mac and Emma talked about Maxie and how much they missed her. Mac worried that he wasn’t there enough for the kids, spending so much time traveling to see Maxie. He wondered if they’d said anything to Emma. Emma told him not to second-guess himself.
Turner met with Molly and told her that she had no intention of prosecuting Rocco for a crime he didn’t commit, but also wouldn’t let Sonny get away with murder. Molly was surprised as she knew Turner was getting close to Sonny.
Turner told Molly that she was making Sonny believe that she was on his side, until she wasn’t.
At Britt’s, Jason gave her some water when she awoke with a hangover. She didn’t remember much from the night before. He filled her in and told her that he’d given her her medication. He told her that her alarm went off a bunch of times and she should check it. Britt supposed he wanted an explanation about what her medication was and who she got it from.
Jason knew that Britt didn’t drink for no reason and hoped that someday she could tell him what scared her and about her medication. He promised he was on her side. Britt started to cry and asked him to leave, but thanked him for looking out for her. “And not mentioning I dared you to kiss me,” she sighed after he left.
After her shower, Britt had flashbacks of the night before. Marco came by and gave her the address and key fob to their new lab. He said she was in charge of the new lab and his father wanted her back to work at 9am the next day. When Britt argued she had to work at the hospital, Marco said he was aware she brought value but no one was irreplaceable. He advised her not to be more trouble than she was worth.
Sonny went to see Laura, who told him that she was sorry for calling him the night she found Dalton’s body in her car trunk, but Sonny was glad she did. Distraught, she said that she had told Kevin everything, but Sonny was okay with that.
Laura told Sonny everything Sidwell said and threatened, and Sonny shared that Sidwell told him he had the gun that killed Dalton — and that Laura’s DNA was all over it. She wondered what she should do if Sidwell wanted her to do something she couldn’t live with.
Sonny knew that Sidwell would continually up the ante with her, but was going to think of a way to deal with him. He asked Laura to do what Sidwell wanted in the meantime. Laura worried about things Sidwell could demand, but Sonny didn’t think he’d go too big too quickly, and that gave Sonny time to plan.
Sonny reminded Laura how they met and said they were against all odds then, but they, with Luke, had found a way ou,t and they were going to do it again. Sonny got Jason to come over and discussed it with him. They decided they needed to find out what Sidwell was really after and why he came to town.
At the station, Nathan and Dante talked about Valentin and how much Dante would invite Anna to return to her position. Nathan agreed, noting that Anna knew Valentin better than anyone. Dante wondered if Anna had helped Valentin escape.
In an undisclosed location, Anna meditated on a mat. She got up and stretched, then went to a large double-sided mirror and screamed, “Why are you watching me?!”
