Outside the Brady Pub, Abe tried to talk to Theo on the phone, but they were at Chanel and Johnny’s. Trey was crying, and Paulina was vacuuming, and it was too loud, so neither Abe nor Theo could hear one another.

In the pub, Jada came to trivia night to meet Theo. She ran into Gabi, who was happy to have signed the papers to have Gabi Chic back. When Theo was noticeably late, Jada called Abe to see if he knew where he was. Abe told her about their call, but said it was too noisy to hear anything.

Jada tried calling Theo again, but found his phone ringing under the bench. She called JJ and told him to send forensics. She then called back Abe and told him that Chad and Theo were missing. Abe shakily told Paulina, then left to find out more.

Paulina called to ask for FBI assistance, but they’d already been called. She regretted telling Theo to get involved with the DiMeras like Abe had wanted.

Philip arrived to meet Gabi, and she told him that Theo and Chad were missing. They lost their appetite for trivia night and left the pub. Back at home, they talked about how neither liked Tony.

Abe arrived at the police station and got caught up on the case. Jada thought EJ was suspicious, given that he was the only child of Stefano’s still in Salem. Abe pointed out that if EJ wasn’t behind it, he could be next. Jada promised to call Abe the moment she heard anything.

In the crypt, Chad thought it was cruel that they were taken. Kristen thought it was a twisted revenge thought by an enemy of Stefano. While they brainstormed, the door opened, and Theo tossed inside. He woke up and asked what was going on.

Theo told them that he was outside the pub on his way to his second date with Jada, and that was the last thing he remembered. None of the others remembered seeing anyone around them before they were taken.

Kristen noted that Theo being taken at least blew one of their theories. Theo told them that their kids were safe. He thought the kidnapper was after their family fortune. Tony apologized to Theo for putting him in a position of power that led to his being kidnapped.

The group noted that EJ would have to step into Theo’s position in his absence. Kristen said that EJ wouldn’t hesitate to remove them out of his way if he wanted to be in control. Theo noted that at least if it was EJ behind their kidnapping, he wouldn’t kill them. “Will he?” he added, unsure. They all looked at one another.

In the DiMera living room, EJ passed out on the couch. Cat muttered that if he knew something about Chad’s disappearance, she’d find out what. She searched the desks in the room, then opened the door to the tunnels and went in.

Cat came upon a bedroom with clothes on the bed and shoes on the floor. She took pictures with her phone but wondered who they belonged to. Cat returned to the living room and patted down EJ. She woke him and said he must have dozed off while she went to the powder room.

Cat and EJ talked about Chad and Tony being missing. EJ thought it was possible that someone was targeting them. Cat wondered if EJ worried that he could be next, but he dismissed it. Just then, Abe texted him, saying they needed to talk and that Theo was missing.

EJ said that on second thought, it wasn’t safe and Cat should leave. He shared that Theo was missing as well. Cat thought if she left, EJ would be in more danger. EJ was quite touched that she was so worried about him, noting that not many people did. “In fact, I’m the DiMera that most people hope disappear,” he told her. “Well, not me,” Cat assured him. EJ moved in for a kiss.
