The Young and the Restless Recap Dec 3: Matt and Burrow Trick the Newmans

In The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Victor arrives in L.A. and comes face-to-face with Matt Clark, while Nick and Sharon are on a wild goose chase, encouraged by Burrow.

The Young and the Restless Recap

At the warehouse, Nick and Sharon took a breather outside, shocked by what they had seen inside. The building had drug addicts strewn throughout inside, but they couldn’t find Noah. Annie, Burrow, and the other officers he’d called in couldn’t find them either. Nick and Sharon weren’t ready to give up, but they didn’t know who they could trust. Burrow told them that he would go see Matt again and try to find out information. Meanwhile, Victor arrived in L.A. and went to Nick and Sharon’s hotel, but they weren’t there. 

As Nick and Sharon were deciding to return to the hotel, a man stumbled up and said he recognized Nick from inside the building when he was asking questions. Nick showed him a photo of Noah and asked if he knew of him. The man said he might — for a price. Nick recalled Matt tossing him a packet of fentanyl and said that he might need to use it as a bargaining chip for information to find his son.

Instead of giving him more drugs, Nick offered him to $200. The man told them that he saw Noah and that he was totally strung out. 

Burrow went to the Shadow Room and updated Matt on Nick and Sharon’s search for Noah. He said Nick and Sharon were traumatized by what they saw in the building and that their precious son could be living among them. Matt snickered that between Nick and Sharon, they almost had one entire brain. Matt said the longer they had to search for Noah, the more they would wring their hands, wrench their guts, and think the worst. “That is exactly the kind of hell I want to put them through,” Matt smiled.

Matt poured Burrow a beer and asked for the details. He relished every detail as he heard how worried they were. Burrow said he called in backup to make it look real, and they had no idea he worked for Matt. Burrow assured Matt that the man who was going to tell them that he had seen Noah all strung out was in place as well. 

When Burrow asked what Matt’s issue was with Noah’s parents, he said they were always there, in his face, and were just as arrogant as their son. As Matt told Burrow that the Newmans deserved every bit of hell that was coming their way, Victor walked in. 

Matt told him he didn’t know who he was and insisted that he wasn’t Matt. Victor sat at the bar and drank a tequila while questioning where Noah was. Matt lamented how he didn’t know exactly, but assumed he was with Matt’s wife since they betrayed him. 

Victor told him he didn’t care what name he went by; he was Victor Newman, and he could destroy him. He asked Matt what his price was. 

In the locked room, Noah had a nightmare about his car accident. He and Sienna talked about how he was going to call Ali so many times and break up with her, tell her the truth, and apologize, but he never did. He didn’t want to hurt her and wanted her to know that he still cared. Sienna understood and said she chose Noah every day, and still did, despite the risks. 

Noah recounted how the last person he saw was Burrow. Sienna said that she was being hounded by Burrow with questions, and Mitch just watched. She insisted she had never seen Mitch do anything illegal or violent as long as she’d known him. Noah told her Mitch was Matt, who terrorized his parents, and they needed to get out of there.

Sienna and Noah recalled how they’d met at a movie theater when they were both watching a film alone. Noah asked if Sienna knew in the moment that it would be the beginning of something incredible. She said on some level she did. Noah told her that because of her, his view of the world changed and he didn’t regret a thing. He promised her they would get out of there.

Noah noticed a necklace Sienna was wearing and thought it could help them escape. She told him that it belonged to her brother, but gave it to him to use. 

Sharon and Nick went back to their hotel and got phone reception again. Nick realized he had texts from his dad, and that he was in L.A. They recounted what the man at the warehouse said, and knew he could have been making it up. Sharon wondered how Matt knew what hotel they were at and where her room was. 

Victor knocked on the door, and they thanked him for coming. He said he was there to ensure the Matt Clark drama came to an end. Victor told them that he went to the Shadow Room and offered a king’s ransom for Noah’s return. 

Victor said that Matt didn’t bite, but had the feeling he wanted revenge, not money. Victor thought Matt seemed more unhinged than he had been in Genoa City. Victor learned that Noah was having an affair with Matt’s wife. Matt told Victor that Sienna was an addict and might try to turn Noah into one. Sharon and Nick didn’t believe it.

Nick recounted everything that had happened since they got to L.A., right up to the stuff Matt told Victor. He thought the man at the warehouse was a plant. They decided they had to force Matt to tell them where Noah was, or else his life would depend on it. Victor told them he had an idea.
