Beyond the Gates Recap Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Dani burned the turkey, Ted made up for lost time, Joey surprised Vanessa

On the Beyond the Gates episode on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, it was Thanksgiving in Fairmont Crest! Dani and Andre heated up the kitchen, Hayley got miffed at Bill’s Dupree obsession, Ted had dinner with Eva and Leslie, and Vanessa was shocked by Joey.

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Smitty and Martin came home from playing football to find that Samantha had set a Thanksgiving table. She said she knew June hadn’t had a proper holiday in years and wanted to do something nice for her.

Tyrell was anxious to get through dinner so he could go see Jessica. Martin asked him not to rush them as it was the last Thanksgiving they’d have together before he left for college. June arrived, and got a warm reception. The family sat around the table and said what they were grateful for. June tearfully said that all she ever wanted was to see her children loved in the way they were, and was thankful for allowing her to be part of it.

At the country club, Bill and Hayley were having Thanksgiving dinner so that they didn’t have to work at home and clean up. But when Hayley saw the Duprees across the room, she blasted him for knowing his ex would be there and bringing her anyway. Bill looked miserable but said they could go somewhere else. Hayley saw Izaiah arrive, and suddenly didn’t have as much of a problem with it.

Across the room, Anita and Vernon noted the table was smaller but only because their children and grandchildren were in loving relationships. Nicole, Naomi, Jacob, and Izaiah joined them. Every time the table laughed loudly, Bill would look over. Hayley wondered why he did this to himself, coming there to remind himself how he was a Dupree outsider now.

Hayley conveniently bumped into Izaiah in the lobby, while Bill greeted the Duprees at their table. When Hayley joined Bill, Anita told her not to let them hold them from their own family celebration. Hayley’s smile faded fast.

Bill and Hayley went back to their table. Bill was all ears later as Vernon gave a toast about those who have overcome circumstances and, of course, being grateful.

Ted and Eva went to Orphey Gene’s for their Thanksgiving dinner as planned. She noted she was grateful to be spending it with him, and that she knew it was his first holiday without Nicole. Ted was open to making it a memorable event, even if it wasn’t the traditional holiday they were used to.

Leslie joined Ted and Eva for dinner. Ted noted that they could come with him to Martin’s for dessert later. Eva worried that Kat would be there, but Ted said she was out of town with Tomas. Eva lamented that she’d leave town to avoid her. Leslie thanked Ted for the offer but said she was going ot the hospital to spend time with Peaches.

Leslie was surprised when Ted happened to mention that Izaiah was related to Jacob. When Ted stepped away, Eva said she didn’t want her mom judging Izaiah because of his family, but Leslie thought it was a bonus to have a police connection.

At Uptown, Vanessa came to meet Joey, but was surprised that it was just him there. He explained that he’d rented it so they’d just have the place to themselves, and he was cooking for her. Vanessa was amazed. Joey told her the menu and how much he wanted to do something special for her. Vanessa was emotional, noting that it had been a long time since anyone had wanted to make such an effort for her.

Vanessa shared with Joey how the kids were doing, and he was compassionate when talking about them. He wouldn’t let her lift a finger in the kitchen and wanted to pamper her, making her a gourmet dinner himself, and Vanessa was extremely grateful…and showed him how much.

Dani tried making a turkey dinner for her and Andre, but he was astounded that she knew how to cook anything more than an omelet. After a little nostalgic reminder that soap operas began by promoting cleaning products, Andre showed us how to use Cascade tablets in the dishwasher, then offered to help with the cooking.

Not long after, there was smoke billowing from the oven, and the turkey was on fire. Dani and Andre ordered Chinese food instead and ate it in the living room while watching football.
