The Young and the Restless Recap Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Claire kissed Kyle, Nate and Victor make amends

On The Young and the Restless episode on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, as the families gathered around Genoa City to celebrate Thanksgiving, Phyllis and Lily finally agreed on something, Claire surprised Kyle (and us), and Nate made amends with a former foe.

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

At the Newman Ranch, Abby, Devon, Nikki, Victor, Victoria, Adam, and Chelsea were visiting when Nate rang the bell. He came into the living room and acknowledged that there had been a past conflict, but hoped to put it to rest. He gave Nikki a container of her favorite tea. “And for the Sir…tequila,” Nate told Victor as he handed him a bottle.

Victoria got Nate out of the spotlight and into the atrium to pour him a drink. Nate said that holidays are hard, missing the ones you love. Victor asked to speak to Nate privately, so they walked towards the door.

Nate told Victor that he regretted what had happened between them, but he did believe at the time that he was helping him. He wanted to mend their broken fences and appreciated the kindness Victor had extended towards him when he lost his brother.

Victor told Nate he had been observing him for the last few months and got Victor’s nod of approval for being a good guy. As Nikki and Victoria hovered anxiously behind them, Victor told Nate, “Happy Thanksgiving.”

The Newmans gathered in the living room and did a toast for everything they were grateful for and a toast to those who weren’t there. When everyone was going, Victoria brought Nate a peppermint hot chocolate she’d made him in her to-go cup. He told her he knew how much she loved her coffee so he would bring it back to her soon. They smiled warmly at one another and Nate kissed her cheek before leaving.

At Crimson Lights, Amy and Lily helped Esther wrap utensils when Cane came in. He said he was the last person Amy would want to see and offered to leave, but she stopped him. Amy acknowledged that it couldn’t be easy for him, either, not being with his kids. She said refusing to share space with him wouldn’t bring Damian back.

Lily told Cane with disdain that if he insisted on being there, he could put on an apron and help the way he used to before he became Aristotle Dumas. Phyllis waltzed in after seeing Lily smile for the first time in over a year when she helped Cane with his apron. She said she was there to help, but was met with hostility from Lily and Esther.

Cane suggested that they get Phyllis an apron, but Esther said they didn’t have an extra. Lily gave her hers, and said she was about to take a break anyway. Phyllis called out Cane for being in denial about seeing him fawn over Lily with puppy dog eyes. Cane said that he told her it was going to take some time to get over Lily, and it wouldn’t be easy.

Phyllis said that friends point out a negative situation to protect them. Cane said she was jealous, but Phyllis pointed out that Lily was a trap for him. Lily came back as Cane and Phyllis were commenting on having their eyes on the future. He asked what Phyllis’ new venture was about.

Lily watched intently from the door as Cane questioned how quickly Phyllis was able to change course after he changed his business plans. Phyllis insisted that it wasn’t a reaction to his actions, and was something in the works for a while. Cane wasn’t buying her story, but before their conversation went too far, Lily stormed back in to give her opinion.

Lily told Cane that he knew what Phyllis was about yet was involved with her. “In every way,” Phyllis interjected. Lily added that Cane claimed to want to change but couldn’t stay committed to whatever he had going on with Phyllis. “It’s not really your call, Lily,” Phyllis pointed out, but Lily scoffed. She told Cane that the reason no one believes in Cane’s supposed turnaround was that he was with Phyllis. She claimed the whole city was watching, so he needed to pick a side. Amy returned from the kitchen and she and Lily left for dinner with the Winters.

“Well that was entertaining,” Cane quipped. He turned to see Phyllis grabbing her coat. “What are you doing?” he asked. Phyllis tossed her apron at him and said, “See ya.”

Once alone, Victor, Victoria, and Nikki looked at photos of Connor, Katie, and Johnny ice skating on the ranch. Nikki noted that Nick had hearted some of the photos, so at least that gave her hope. Nikki explained that she had a gut feeling that something was wrong and Victoria agreed. Victor told them everything was fine.

At Society, Nate, Amy, Devon, and Lily gathered for dinner. Nate shared that Damian had taken her green bean casserole recipe before he moved to L.A. and the chef was recreating it for her. Amy was surprised, since Damian was so angry at her then. “You were always in his heart,” Nate explained.

Amy talked about how grateful she was for her life, and then they all held hands and said a prayer before their meal. While they waited for it to be ready, they said what they were thankful for, even Lily.

Phyllis got back to the GCAC, frustrated that Cane came in behind her. He told her not to be surprised by Lily’s attitude, as she’d expressed those opinions before. Phyllis said she didn’t care about Lily, she cared about Cane and how he just stood there and took it. “All of her preaching and scolding…you just listened,” Phyllis said.

Phyllis told Cane she wasn’t going to also come down on him like Lily does and noted there wasn’t enough room in his life for both of them. “Pick a side,” she said before going upstairs.

At the Abbott mansion, Claire was in an awkward position when Harrison begged her to stay for dinner in front of everyone, even though he knew she was supposed to have dinner with her family. Before she could answer, Jack and Ashley walked in the door.

Ashley got a warm welcome, and Jack told Sally how glad she was there as well. He said that he had every faith in her to make the company and the Abbott name a success. Harrison told Jack he was trying to get Claire to stay, so Jack joined in and said they would love it if she did.

Claire told Harrison that she could stay a little longer but then she really had to go. “I’ll take what I can get!” he said happily before going to make room for her at the table. In Abbott tradition, the guests went around the table in the dining room and said what they were grateful for.

Jack summarized that no matter how difficult things got, they never forgot that what they did was love and forgive one another. “It’s what the Abbotts do. Happy Thanksgiving!” he said, and then they all clinked glasses.

After dinner, Claire said she really needed to get going. Harrison happily said goodbye and promised to save her a slice of pie. Kyle walked Claire outside the front door and thanked her for coming. “It really meant a lot to Harrison. Both of us, if I may say,” he said. Claire told him she was glad she stayed as well. She put her hand on his arm, then leaned in and kissed him. “Happy Thanksgiving, Kyle,” Claire said before walking away with a smile.
